At By Design K9 Training we use science-based methods to teach long lasting behaviors effectively while maintaining a strong owner-dog relationship! Head Trainer Gianna DeFort is CPDT-KA (Certified Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) under the CCPDT. Following the Humane Hierarchy and LIMA to avoid aversive methods until other methods have been exhausted. This helps to preserve your relationship with you dog and helps them feel motivated and safe in training.
From Puppy Basics to Problem Behaviors, By Design does it all! While our Head Trainer is very skilled in teaching basics skills and socialization all dogs need, dogs with behavioral problems have been a passion for her. If you have a dog that is reactive, aggressive, fearful, or any other problematic behaviors, By Design can help you both lives fulfilling lives!
All assessments are FREE OF CHARGE! Our goal is you ensure you are happy with your trainer and that they are a good fit for you and your dog.
